And, so this is it! After months of uncertainty and speculations surrounding the opportunity of the IPL taking location this year, the thirteenth version of the cash-rich league will eventually take middle stage in the United Arab Emirates from September 19th.
The event is set to kick off with a blockbuster clash, with the defending champions Mumbai Indians locking horns with three-time winners and the runners-up of the closing edition, Chennai Super Kings.
The 53-day event will consist of 10 double-headers and will be performed in the bio-secure surroundings of the UAE at the back of closed doors.
What are the venues at which the IPL 2020 will be contested?
The IPL will take area throughout the three venues in the United Arab Emirates- Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Sharjah. The Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi will host 20 round-robin video games which include the match opener, whilst Dubai and Sharjah will play host to 24 and 12 video games respectively.
